A new print is in the shop, which means I am on track with goals #2 and #5 for 2011. And another new design will be unveiled in a few days (hopefully).
Best get in some work time before bed!
Just a quick post to say these scarves are available in my shop. Only a handful of these will be made, so you'll be a lucky cat if you get your paws on one.
I was literally doing a happy dance yesterday after finding out that I was featured on Moderncat! It was a lovely surprise (and ego boost) after a rather lacklustre start to the new year, at least in my etsy shop.
Thank you to all who stopped by my shop because of the press. And a big thank you to Kate, aka Ms. Moderncat.
I'm loving this fantastic treasury that this tee is in, put together by this lovely gal.Been working away on a new print that will hopefully hit the shop by the end of the week. And I will be listing some new items before the end of the day.Happy (Mustache) Monday to you!
Before January turns into February, here are 11 Goals for 2011:
1. Update my blog at least once a week.
2. List a new item in my etsy shop at least once a month.3. Get some printed press.
4. Drink more water.
5. Make at least one new painting/illustration/design a month.
6. Enroll in a mom and baby class and/or get Whitney into a playgroup. 7. Dress up at least once a week.8. Date night with Matt once a week.
9. Reconnect with friends, meeting with at least one friend once a month.
10. More belly rubs and chin scratches for Suki and Dex.11. Grow my business. And Whitney turned 1 today.
(pardon the terrible blurry photo) We enjoyed a low-key day together, skyping with family, and eating cake.Yum!
Our conversation as we're getting Whitney ready for bed tonight (slightly paraphrased):
Matt: So we should hang the picture above the dresser.
Me: Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Matt: There's definitely studs in this wall. I'm not sure about this one. (touching other wall)
Me: Did you already check that wall? I thought they (previous owner's) had a picture up on that wall.
Matt: Yeah, but that was pretty iffy. (banging on wall and the sound of falling rubble) I think it's hollow. Did you hear that?
Me: Yeah. (eyebrows frowning) Above the dresser is definitely the safest place for the picture.
Matt: Well, as long as you find where the studs are, that's the safest place to hang something... That's why you feel so safe with me, cuz I'm a stud.
Me: (on the floor, dying of laughter)Whitney: waah!Night night :)
And Whitney will be a year old in one week. Man, did 2010 flew by!
Hope your 2011 is off to a great start. One of my goals this year is to update my blog at least once a week, even if it's just with a photo and a short blurb. So yay for staying on track thus far.
I'll be back to share more of my goals soon. Whitney just woke from her nap, so gotta go.
